A hero installation built to mark twenty-five years of computer graphics, conceived as a single object that could carry the medium’s full timeline at once. The sculpture stitched together a Flash MX animation loop, a Photoshop 7 Make composition, and a TouchDesigner reactive layer driven by a Kinect into one physical structure ringed by a stack of disorderly screens. Each surface was a different era of the toolchain, on at the same time, talking past each other on purpose. We prototyped the entire piece in Unreal first — the walkthrough below is from that build — to lock geometry, screen placement, and viewing angles before fabrication. It was the centerpiece of the Make event but operated as its own work, a self-contained reflection on how the discipline keeps remembering itself.
